There was an occasion in my life which I always remember until today. In the matter of fact, I remember each of the detail of it. Whenever I remember that occasion, it really encourage me to be closer to Jesus.

When I surrendered my life to Jesus in November 1993, my life was totally changed and people would notice that there was something in me which is different. My friends told me that I have changed and I was not the one they used to know. I was happy with my changes and I felt God was moving in me.

Few months after I gave my life to Jesus, my heart was still full with joy and I praised the Lord in whatever situation I that I face. There was a girl in my class and she was very close to me in school. She was a Christian and she was very active in her church, and during that time she really stood by me and really gave me a very good company in school after I was born again in Christ.

One day when we were sitting together and just chatted, she saw that i was very happy and praising the Lord, she told me the words which I never forget until now. She said, “Tina, I really want to know where you are many years after now.”

Whenever I felt down or when I felt far from God, that moment came to me. I want to be with Jesus whatever things happen in my live. I want to keep this faith until Jesus come the second time.

There was one illustration which is really touch my heart, whenever I saw this flash, I remember those words, I remember the things which are happen in my life when I follow Jesus. Things may comes our way, but we have to keep this faith that we have for Him.
