Today I received a forwarded mail from one of my friend in Jakarta, it is about a story behind the song “JanjiMu Seperti Fajar” which means Your Promise is like a Sunrise.
After more than 6 years staying in India, I don’t really update myself about the latest Indonesian Christian songs. I don’t know when this song was written but when I read the lyric of this song, I was really touched.
When we don’t know which way to choose, God is the place where we can find the answer. That we will never be alone, because God is lifting us up to the higher place. His promise is like a sun shine that will never late to rise. His love is like a river flow and we know how deep is His love.
There are many wise people in this world who think that they know all the answers, but still there are many things which they don’t know. Specially when one is in distress and he doesn’t know which way to choose or which way to go, it seems there is no answer to life. I read in news paper that Japan has the highest rate of suicide, I also read the news about suicide bid in Indonesia, even in India itself, there are many people and students chose to suicide because they cannot face the failure in life and because they don’t find the answer in their life.
Jeremiah 33:2-3, “This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know’.
Matthew 7:8, “For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Jesus is the only answer in our lives, like the sunrise which never late to shine, His promise is never come late, it is always right on time.
