This morning when I was cooking in the kitchen, I remember the preaching which was brought by Pastor Daniel Darlong in the church.
He delivered the Word of God from Genesis 21:14-20, when Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away, they went their way to the desert. When the water in the skin or leather bag finished, Hagar left the boy under one of the bushes and she kept herself in a distance as she couldn’t see the boy die. She might not know that Ishmael was crying as he lied there, but God listened to his cry. God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. She then filled the leather bag with the water and gave the boy a drink.
We normally don’t discuss too much about Hagar and Ishmael and their life, but that Sunday morning, God has given a very good message through our Pastor. Desert represents our world where we are living. Ishmael represent the people in this world who doesn’t know God and they are crying for their life. Hagar represents us as the children of God. We have the water with us, we have the Words of God which give us live, and we have the responsibility to give this water to the people so they will believe in Jesus. But do we care to see this people die? Do we care to see this people cry?

Great! It was an awesome preaching. Good job:)
