Today I received a mail about the fight between the Christians from different members of the church. This really brings the sadness in my heart, why is it so easy for people to be deceit-ed to do the wrong thing? I got the answer, because people don’t live their lives in walk with God.

Jesus said in the book of Mark chapter 12 verse 29 – 31 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”

My opinion which came from my experience living in the place where the mixed culture, religion and background. Religion is not a heritage. You cannot passed your religion to your children or your grand children, etc. You cannot force anyone to have the same religion as you have. It is a matter to believe on the God whom you think has given you live. I have seem many people surround me, they took religion because their parents hold that religion, but it has become a name tag. First of all, we must all know why we are holding that name tag. I’m a Christian, and I’m proud to say that I’M A CHRISTIAN. Christian is from the words “Christ Like”. To be a Christian I have to live a life like Jesus, do whatever His commands. I don’t know about Hindu, Muslim, Budha, etc. But if you are Muslim, do whatever Mohammad said, if you are a Buddha, do whatever Buddha said and if you are Hindu, do whatever your god says. Follow all the steps of your gods whoever you believe. In most of the cases, people only wants to take the easy part. They hate the teaching which is not convenient to them, in result, people have their religions according to whatever they feel or think, not whatever their God feel or think.

This is the same case with the people from NEI, other parts or India and all over the world. People are busy to do whatever they feel their right to fulfill their ego, and God hates ego. Jesus said to love your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. But He didn’t stop over there, he also said, Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. People think when do worship their god or idols, it is enough for them, and people think by having the idols in their home, it is enough to prove their religion. But the fact is that, when they pray to their god, they are too busy to pray for themselves. They will pray for their children, they will pray to get blessing for their works, their studies, to get more money, etc. But they forget to pray for others people who are not related to them. Did they pray for their country? Did they pray for people who are sick? Did they pray for the people who are in need? The answer is “NO.” People are to BUSY with their selfishness. They forgot, God is love, and to prove that you love your God, you must love others people surround you. In the matter of fact, I hate people who are fighting bringing the name of religion of their God, they are LIAR, God doesn’t want all of us to hate other people, because the nature of God is LOVE.

The fact is that the devils are working in the hearts of the people, trying to deceit them. That is why, religion is not a name tag. People have to walk with God in their life, listen to what He wants to say to us. Again as I said, people are busy to talk and talk and talk. They never stop to hear what their God wants them to do. Some people used to ask me, “How to hear God?” - If you believe that God that you serve is alive, you will talk and communicate with Him. God can talk with you through the Holy Bible, through the pastors, etc, or sometimes God can talk directly to you. But you have to be sensitive with His voice, which is why 2 ways communication is more effective in your walk with God. If you are busy to talk to God with all your needs, you have missed your chance to hear His voice.

Some people also ask me, “How do I know whether it is the sound of God or not?” - If you walk with God in your life, you will know God’s character. I have to read the Bible so I know the character of my God. My Jesus doesn’t want me to hate people, neither he want me to take revenge on other people. In Leviticus 19:18 – God said ” ‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. And again in the book of Deuteronomy 32:35 – God said “It is mine to avenge; I will repay.” There will be a time when people will be stand face to face with God, and they will be judged according to what their do, that’s when God will reward each of the people who are living according to the Words of God.
